My career in counseling focuses on helping college students manage challenges and life changes they face as they grow into adulthood. Those seeking my help will find a welcoming, non-judgmental, and accepting environment where all values and cultural backgrounds are respected as we seek solutions jointly.

My preferred approach to counseling is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT is a mindfulness approach to working through life’s problems by focusing on the present, nonjudgmentally accepting thoughts and feelings, and exploring coping mechanisms together. I also have extensive knowledge in various modalities such as CBT, person-centered therapy, and Gestalt therapy. I have successfully passed the National Counselor Examination (NCE), and I am looking forward to completing the requirements for LPC licensure this year.

During my leisure time, I enjoy fishing, camping, woodworking, traveling, botany, and parenting my two cats Luna and Marco Polo. I find peace in nature, accepting all she offers from sunny days to wild storms.
